TOV fairings is based in Holland. We distribute and develop polyesther race fairings for professional race teams, national championship riders and trackday riders.

Our products are designed and developed by Rico Mertens since the early 1990's. First branded as 'Rico's Racing Research' then as 'CRC fairings' and nowadays under TOV fairings.

Because of the specially developed gelcoat and resin with a superb strength it is possible to use less polyesther and therefore substantially decrease the total weight of a set of race fairings. Making it similarly lightweight as carbon, yet for a very affordable price. The sets come with pre fitted fasteners and seatpad, taking away as much effort as possible for mounting the bodywork on your bike.

Shipping

It is no problem to ship to the UK and Ireland, overseas in the rest of the world is more challenging because of the size of the boxes. Please contact us beforehand and we will propose a solution

It depends on where you are. Within the EU it takes usually 1-3 days to arrive. We have almost always all complete sets in stock and these are therefore directly available for shipment. The spare parts can take longer before they will be shipped, for logistical reasons. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. We will always keep you up to date about the expected delivery time

We use all major carriers, and local courier partners. Depending on your location we might contact you to decide what will be the best form of transport

We aim to always have all the complete sets, racing screens and subframes in stock. In total there are over 200 complete sets in stock at our warehouse in Holland. The seperated parts (i.e. a left sidepanel) will be produced after they are ordered and therefore have a longer lead time.

  • In Holland and Belgium free shipping above 80 euro order value, from 0 to 80 8 euro
  • In the EU approximately 30 euro for the bigger boxes
  • UK around 75 for the bigger boxes and 30 for the smaller boxes

Our bodywork

We recommend to first install the set on the bike so that the holes that need to be drilled can be drilled before there is paint on the parts. The same counts for the small adaptations that sometimes need to be made. After that the parts should be cleaned with acetone before sanding and primering.

Because of our special ultrastrong resin we need less layers of polyesther for getting sufficient strenght and cohesion. When you hold one part in your hand you might think its rather thin and flexible. However once installed on the bike it is very firm because of the total cohesion. The advantage is obvious: an extremely lightweight product!

This usually speaks for itself, but of course not everyone has the same level of experience when it comes to working on motorcycles. We are working on manuals but you can always contact us for support.

Product

We always aim for making sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. Custom made or ordered products cannot be returned. Please look at our return policy for further details

In general our products are standardized. The only product that can be customized is the seatpad. The thickness can be made thicker or tinner. Beware that the lead time is 3 to 4 weeks before this can be shipped. Also this product cannot be returned as it is customized

Company

We are based in the Netherlands and therefore well positioned geographically for the distribution of our products. Also many professional raceteams and headquarters of bike manufacturers are present in the Netherlands. This enables us to get the latest models fast and develop the products in conjunction with these teams.

Of course, if you have a registrered motorcycle (racing) company or own a raceteam we are happy to cooperate. Please contact us for the possibilities.
